I tend to be a bit of a clutz, although I swear that my fiance purposely leaves things out just to try and make me trip on them so that he can get a fantastic laugh.
I cannot tell you how many times I have tripped over my fiance’s shoes.
He gets condo from work pretty late each night, and I am usually already sleeping. He takes his work shoes off in the living room, but he takes them off right at the door. If he just walked a few feet and took them off, it would not be a giant deal, but he doesn’t. I get up pretty early in the day, and I don’t turn the lights on because I don’t want to wake him. I almost always trip on his shoes no matter how strenuous I try to avoid them. I guess he puts them in slightly uncommon spots each time so that I never quite know where they are going to be, then not only does he leave his shoes by the door, but he also leaves his space furnace in weird places. He uses a space furnace just about every single afternoon during the winter months. He gets truly chilly in the living room and in the study room when he is cooking dinner. He basically takes his space furnace with him throughout the house. It is like the little puppy that follows him everywhere that he goes, well, he tends to leave the space furnace right in the middle of the walkway. I tripped over the cord of his space furnace the other afternoon, and I fell and broke my leg. I guess he finally feels poor about making my trip but he did laugh at first. I don’t like that space furnace now.
