I need to make these last 12 afternoons count because I honestly won’t be back here to visit the States for another year.
I am thinking about moving back to the USA in about three or four years before almost everyone gets too outdated on me.
I have been living overseas since 2016 and am starting to get a bit homesick. The only concern with living in the States again is it has become undoubtedly pricey and I’m not making the currency I once was. All of my friends are making tons of currency with their local contractors doing Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C repairs and things like that. I chased comedy for 17 years and all of my currency vanished in the process, but I have a ton of fond memories from doing nearly 1500 shows over that time period. I was an Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C worker, running my own heating and cooling contractor for ten years, but I wanted a change so I chased a dream for several years. In the end though, the things I remember most are the experiences and not the currency or the things I purchased. When I was making a lot of currency with the heating contractor shop doing air duct repairs, I purchased a Lamborghini Diablo, and still that undoubtedly doesn’t add up to what the comedy experiences brought me. I am just scraping by with my Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C unit writing task and some side labor doing stuff for the local contractor, but I have everything I need and a lot of free time to do the things that bring me joy.
