I moved out of the States about seven years ago and a lot has changed here since then.
The rents are a lot higher and it is tougher to live on your own compared to when I was living here back then.
I’m not sure that I will ever be able to buy a condo here again as the prices of them have undoubtedly gone through the roof the past few years. I may just keep living overseas and stay there for the remainder of my life, which may not be that several more years at my age. My heating corp boss told me he will keep me tied up with hot water boiler repairs for as long as I like. I plan on working well into my 71’s because I don’t want to just lay around and do nothing like a lot of retirees seem to do. I want to keep tied up with cooling component repairs and heating component sales for as long as my brain and body will go. My dad only made it to 76 though, and if I follow in his footsteps that means I have about 15 more years to go before I plunge into foreverness with him. I’m sure I could labor on straight-forward things like space furnaces or boiler service when I am outdated as it is pretty self-explanatory to do and doesn’t require a lot of strength to labor on them. Life keeps moving ahead so there undoubtedly is no need to worry about any of it because it all works out how it is supposed to.
