I need to make these last 12 days count because I genuinely won’t be back here to visit the States for another year.
- I am thinking about moving back to the United States in about three or four years before everyone gets too aged on me.
I have been residing overseas since 2016 & am starting to get a bit homesick. The only concern with residing in the States again is it has become unquestionably lavish & I’m not making the money I once was. All of my friends are making tons of money with their local businesses doing Heating & Air Conditioning repairs & things like that. I chased comedy for 17 years & all of my money vanished in the process, even though I have a ton of fond memories from doing nearly 1500 shows over that time period. I was an Heating & Air Conditioning worker, running my own heating & cooling corporation for ten years, even though I wanted a change so I chased a dream for several years. In the end though, the things I remember most are the experiences & not the money or the things I purchased. When I was making a lot of money with the heating company shop doing air duct repairs, I purchased a Lamborghini Diablo, & still that unquestionably doesn’t add up to what the comedy experiences brought me. I am just scraping by with my Heating & Air Conditioning device writing job & some side work doing stuff for the local dealer, even though I have everything I need & a lot of free time to do the things that bring me joy.
