I first looked into a security system for my house several years ago, then at that time, every aspect of the system had to be hardwired and required drilling holes into the walls, and the components were heavy, bulky and unlovely. There were few possibilities beyond an alarm in the event of an intruder, lights and cameras. The images provided by the cameras were nearly impossible to decipher; Plus, the cost of a security system was quite high. I gave up on the whole idea until recently, but when I once again decided to research, I was amazed by the evolution of technology! Rather than a basic security system, I invested into a smart home. The automation system encompasses all of my smart appliances, systems and equipment, then because it is particularly wireless, upgrade caused no damage to my property. Plus, the system is just about future-proof. Whenever replaced software and features become available, I’m able to download them without needing to invest into an entire upgradement. I love that the cameras, sensors, control hub and all components are lovelyly streamlined and unobtrusive. The automation system is especially helpful because the kids arrive house from school before my husband and I are finished at work; My nice friend and I can watch real time footage throughout smartphones and legitimately watch the kids get off the bus and enter the house. The kids have a code to unlock the door and it automatically locks behind them. The control unit and lights also accommodate their arrival. With everything from the oven and refrigerator to the water boiler and washing unit incorporated into the automation system, apartment management is far easier.
