Waiting room sweat shop

Waiting room sweat shop

My spouse became ill recently and after a few days decided that he certainly should go to the doctor! He normally refuses to go so when he asks for me to take him I didn’t hesitate.

I knew he had been running a fever for a few days and wasn’t able to keep anything down so I figured he had some sort of a flu bug.

My nice friend and I called ahead to make an appointment however as usual, had to lay in the waiting room for almost 45 minutes before he could see the doctor. As my associate and I sat waiting my spouse started to feel worse and worse, despite the fact that I know that also had to do with the fact that the waiting room was sweltering hot. I thought this was unproper because the added heat in the room would only make the spreading of germs worse and I could not imagine why they would have the temperature set so high, then when I asked the receptionist if the temperature could be turned down she said that the doctor wanted it kept where it was to accommodate his older patients who are constantly chilly. I shared with her my problems over the spread of germs and she said that I was welcome to use the antibacterial hand scrub on the wall if I felt uncomfortable. My nice friend and I were very blissful when my spouse was finally called back to the room and seen by the doctor. My nice friend and I left with his prescription in hand and I was very blissful to get home. I told my spouse then in there that I was going to look for a new doctor’s office because evidently they didn’t enjoy the well-being of people that were just stopping in for a Well Visit.
